Maybe it does - to a tiny tiny proportion and these issues can be resolved sensitively without everyone screaming at each other and further marginalising an already victimised group. I'm sick and tired of the nastiness.
There is nastiness on all sides. It’s one of those horrible situations where biological women absolutely have a point, and transgenders want an avenue to be able to compete. But don’t be fooled, transgender communities can be incredibly hostile, just as much as TERFs, and their “cancellation campaigns” on X and the like are numerous and vicious - just like transphobes.

I just point this out because it is a very messy situation with no clear remedy, with parallels in that sense to Israel and Palestine, and some very careful and considered reactions are required from all sides.

Maybe time to set up some Trans Leagues ? At least in London and surrounding areas there would be demand you think.

At the time of her BBC interview, Hamilton had been undergoing hormone therapy for three years. 'They need to look at the science, what it actually does to your body,' she added.

'It does take away your muscle mass, your explosiveness. Your ratios from type-one to type-two fast-twitch fibres change - your body completely changes. I don't think they realise how much of a change hormone therapy makes.

'There is absolutely no advantage on the pitch.'

I agree that it should be discussed sensitively, without screaming and nastiness. It should be possible to encourage people to do that here.

If men decide to become women, then they should have every right to play for the women's teams

Gents (and Ladies) reading some of the responses are we not allowed to have a debate now? (How long before Sir Keir shuts down NSC, after he’s banned fags in beer gardens? 😂)

It came up on my feed this morning, and many on here know boxing is also another sport I love and what went on in Paris was not only farcical but relevant to this subject.

Aside from their brief dalliance with the EFL, Sutton United are one of the most respected non league football clubs in the country, so for this issue to arrive at their door, it clearly will have people talking about (if we’re allowed to 🤷‍♂️)

We should probably go back to basics.

If you were born with a cock, you play for the men's teams.

If you were born with a fanny, you play for the women's team.

Sorry if that's offensive to anyone, but to me that's f***ing obvious.
What about people born with both ? Or cases like the Moroccan boxer

This is so rare that it should be discussed in depth by experts at some kind of tribunal.

Can you name an example where this has happened, in any professional sport?
And the Moroccan boxer ?

Personally sick and tired of anyone who might hold a different view to others being attacked for being out of date, of victimisation, not being open minded enough etc etc..

Also enormous to your average UK male at 5’ 10”
Matt Ryan was considered too small to be a keeper by many on here at 5’10”. Most male goalkeepers are six feet or more, at least 7 inches taller than 5’5”.

Indeed.

As an aside the FA recently upped the mixed-age limit right up to 18, though how many females would actually stay with their majority male youth teams right through to that age group remains to be seen. Littlest Orange dropped out of her age group team because she didn't like playing with the boys (as they didn't pass to her and kept knocking her over) and has only shown a limited interest in playing since.

My main feeling on the subject is that you can't be fair to one group of people by being unfair to a far larger group of people.
