indeed - edited above for greater accuracy

ps
I love/hate weather watching during the cricket season...! Between April and September I check the weather by all means possible at every opportunity i.e on the internet, teletext, TV, radio, newspaper, out of the window, etc etc Looking 5 days ahead is the favourite pastime - on teletext you have to take an average of the forecast for Exeter and Dover... on the BBC website you can get a forecast for your own back garden but it just keeps changing... the map thing where you can click it through hour by hour for rainfall and cloud cover offers a tempting veneer of precision but with similarly wayward results... and then there's the "Monthly Outlook"...! my favourite thing is that despite repeated experience I always come back for more and believe what I see (getting hopelessly optimistic about good forecasts and desperately gloomy about bad ones...!)

then as soon as the cricket season finishes I couldn't give a toss about the weather anymore - might get wet, might not...

update Wednesday 8.51am - now its a black cloud with one rain drop and seven rays of sunshine coming out of it

told you it was looking brighter over the back of the pavilion...

Weds 11.50am

just gone to white cloud and 7 rays of sunshine for Eastbourne on Saturday...

still black cloud with one raindrop + 7 rays for Lords but is white cloud only relatively nearby (e.g. London Gatwick) so given that we're still 3 days away there must be hope of weather that is at least ok on the big day...

This aint football you stupid idiot, this is cricket and one of the biggest prizes up for grabs.

And there's me thinking a nice "Lib Dems killing football poster" appearing on TV as a four/six is stuck into the crowd would be good to see.

Put in my place by Eric the KFC cook

Just save the Anti Lib Dem posters for next month conference, no need to bring them to home of Cricket.

I didnt actually say I was taking one but why not, I bet you will be singing GOSBTS which is traditionally sung at football. I see it as a national focus opportunity which the Conference will not be

I would suspect you will not get it in there in any case. Lords are notiourisly iffy when it comes to flags and the like. Which is a shame as mine has a Sussex Badge on it, as well as Brighton, but I cannot be arsed with the stewards.
