69/2 and only 76 behind.

Travis Head (is it going to be Travo or Heado?) into double figures (10 off 24) and van Zyl chugging along on 19 (off 46)

It's likely to be slow and steady on a chilly, grey day

Stevens not a bad performer at 45 and has played every game this season. Our 25year olds need resting after a couple of games

It's pretty much been the case since I've been watching Sussex - and that's 56 years

Indeed. The number of Sussex batsmen who have gone on to play for England in the 40 odd years I've been following Sussex can probably be counted on one hand! In very recent times, you've got Luke Wright (and he was only T20s really) and that's pretty much it.

So looks like an innings lead of about 100.... what could possibly go wrong based on what we’ve already seen this season?

Nothing will go wrong with this. Archer and Robinson will knock over Kent comfortably (perhaps leaving some scraps for Carson).

Certain victory for Sussex unless Kent get lucky with the rain.
