Nash can't be far off a call up either. He's been very consistant this year and has the handy ability of being able to break a partnership with his bowling.

He's 27 though and behind Carberry (and probably Lyth) in the pecking order. England have already got a part-time spinner in KP and another batsman who can bowl a bit in Bopara.

Brown, on the other hand, is a decent batsman and could well step up as Prior's deputy in time - he's only 21 or 22 I believe, so he has time on his side.
