It's quite a country to move around though! I notice that if we get through we play the next game in Hyderabad, which is just a small 950 miles from Delhi!

ive travelled round India loads, its only about £40 for an internal flight, but I once flew from Goa to Bangalore and the flight couldnt land because the tarmac hadnt dried properly on the runway

The runway at Goa has a road that goes acroos it, and there are red lights cars have to stop at when planes come into land

f*** me, they do as well.

Katich
Hughes
Jaques
Warner
Clarke
Brendon McCullum
Haddin
Watson
Bracken
Brett Lee
Hauritz
Clark
And best of all... DOUG BOLLINGER

They have a dream team:bowdown:

Thankfully, I think McCullum's on the team below them on the list, the Otago Volts. Even without him, NSW look quite scary though.

In fact I would go so far as to say this whole tournament's a bit silly really - the IPL teams have basically unlimited budgets and the pick of the world's players, the Aussie teams have tons of their top players cos of the fact there's only about 5 states in their country or something, and the likes of us and Somerset have to compete with whatever's left really.

According to a highly respected and accurate source, Brendon now plays for New South Wales, having left Otago this year. And Wikipedia doesn't often lie:lol:

You're right about the rest though. It is a bit of an unfair playing field, but who cares really? We're playing in INDIA against New South Wales - that'll do me!

I stand corrected then - they've got the player with the highest Twenty20 score in history - we've got Joe Gatting.

I agree with you about the whole thing, it'll be great fun and awesome to watch our boys play in it, it's just a bit of a shame that realistically we don't have a chance of winning it.

Just got back from Birmingham, what a brilliant time. I would love to get to Delhi to see us play Australia/Newzealand side in disguise.

We want a whole team of Dwayne Smiths....I imagine the chargers will take their ownership of him.

Just far enough away from LDC
Often have need to travel to Hyderabad on business so hmmmmmm could tie the two together here.

That being said, having been in Hyderabad when they beat Lahore in the second game of the ICL final, I'd hate to be an 'away' fan when playing the Deccan Chargers there.
