Any idea why it is on Wednesday night and not this afternoon? Sort it out Sussex FA!?!?

Not only missing a big bank holiday crowd but clashing with the city game too?

Rarely has a Sussex Senior Cup final appearance by the albion been so overshadowed by another albion match.

It was being used for a charity game on Monday I believe, agree the bank holiday would have made a lot more sense though

A much-changed side for Albion U-23s this evening. Des Hutchinson captains the side in his first start since recovering from injury sustained in January. The long-forgotten Jonah Ayunga makes his first U-23 appearance for 16 months (following largely goal-less loan spells and surgery for a broken leg). Reece Meekums plays at right-back following his loan spell at Worthing; Rian O'Sullivan plays after his loan spell at Carshalton Athletic. Warren O'Hora makes just his second start, and Josh Kerr his first start since early December. David Ajiboye returns after his loan spell playing for the Millwall U-23s.

Got to believe that this will be the final Albion appearance for a number of these players before being released at the end of the season:-

That looks a very weak young line up for the final this evening.

It is certainly young, but Albion do tend to play a younger side in the Sussex Senior Cup. No starters tonight from the line-up that beat Middlesbrough 12 days ago.

I AM a bit surprised that the likes of Ajiboye and Ayunga are included, as I'm sure their time with Albion is coming to an end.

But is it "weak"? We'll know in about two-and-a-half hours time.

Dessie & Collings will be here next season.

The rest: probably not. JT will get himself a league gig no probs.

Quiz question: At which ground did brothers Ashley Young and Lewis Young play in different matches within a week?
