Sussex along with the other non-test ground counties are a massive irritation to the ECB.
The sooner the Hundred franchises are converted into an elite T20 competition the better, as far as the ECB are concerned.

Until then Kent, Essex, Sussex, Leicestershire, Gloucestershire, Derbyshire, Northamptonshire are all irritants.

Sussex possibly going up to County Championship Div One or through to the T20 quarter-finals doesn't fit the script.
