I am most bewildered by this. This is poor form from Sussex. This was not the start to the season I was expecting from them.
Although if they go on to draw this match I'd say it's almost exactly the start to the season I was expecting.

I'll admit they came far closer to winning the last game than that cynical attitude allows.

Sussex need to think about a declaration here. Forecast is for heavy showers for much of tomorrow.

Maybe waiting for Simpson to get his 200
I thought at one time we were waiting for him to get his 150! - or maybe we were waiting for a lead of 200 - or 250..........

I wonder what we'll be waiting for if Simpson passes his 200 and we keep going!

All well and good if we win but if we dont Its looking like personal achievments above team considerations

Just logged back in. I very, very surprised they are still batting there. The weather tomorrow is not looking good at present.

Simpson has his 200, Karvelas has his 50, and STILL they bat on!

I’m on board - f*** the points - lets score a THOUSAND.

Tremendous effort from our batters. Going into the season then quality and form of our batters was a real concern for me, early days but our batters are very much proving me wrong.

Hope we bowl better in 2nd innings than we did last season.

At the end of today's "Things Could Be Worse Watch", Durham finished 12/2 following on, still 169 runs behind Warwickshire.

They scored 517 in their first innings and still had to follow on. :lolol:
I'm sure there was a match recently (Glamorgan were one of the counties involved) where a huge defeat occurred after a massive first innings total.

Although Adelaide 2006 is the one I can't get my head round.
