I see plenty of tickets available for first 20/20 on Friday. I always thought these games sold out in the past. Is interest in 20/20 waning

😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳

I noticed that one of Middlesex 2nds' opening bowlers was Joshua De Caires, who is Mike Atherton's son.
Also, as far as I know he is a batsman rather than any sort of bowler, although he apparently bowls off-spin.
Presumably not very well.

Also, Farbrace has said that with Pujara away for a few weeks they hope to announce an overseas bowler in the next few days.

Michael Burgess returns on loan for the duration of the Biff
Strange one.
Ollie Carter can score quickly while Orr and Alsop can both keep.
Would have been better to have signed an out and out batter. That is The most obvious weakness in T20 side.

If he can bat well enough he might get in the team on that alone

Possibly . Although he was never that great shakes before, and Warwicks clearly don’t think he’s that great. Maybe he’s cover?
Im not expecting much from the t20 campaign. We don’t have high-quality enough players to make much of a dent.
Red ball has been encouraging though.

not a team to strike fear into the stronger teams but it might be the best we can manage.
Anyone I’ve missed?

Not missing as such but I'd play Haines in that top order instead of Ward perhaps. Batting looks way short on power

I thought the bowling was the more obvious weak link !
TBF the T20 line ups for most of the counties look weaker.
The competition has been downgraded by the 100 effect.
As reflected in poor ticket sales (For the blast).
Obviously , the Sooner the 100 dies it’s natural death the better. The question is, will they let it die?
