Second was a horrible decision by the batsman - it was like watching catching practice.

Well played Sussex! Rawlins showed what he could really do today. Needed some luck after being dropped on 18 though. My pick of the bowlers too for the control offered when others were going around the park.

There was an edge to Rawlins in the Oxfordshire game last week.
He smashed James Coles all over.
It looked like a message to the management that he wants the spinning allrounder place and is done being sidelined.
Impressive again today.

It was an absolute dolly of a catch though, Van Meekeren bowled superbly but he's no fielder

Both Karvelas and Currie are upgrades on Crocombe, Atkins, Hunt (who has improved a bit tbf).
Hopefully there are even better options out there though

The lads are playing at Edgbaston today in the 50 over Royal London One Day Cup, kick-off 11am.

I know this format is much preferred by the aficionados of the great game on NSC.

I like 50 over cricket.

Outside of Test Matches, it's my favoured format.

Looking forward to Sunday at Hove.

It is, and thanks for letting us know. I'll look for a stream.

Right from childhood I preferred the longer format. But I still watched the Sunday League and the Nat West Trophy was special.

I'd love to see Sussex pull off a surprise in this. But the 50 over format is less of a lottery than 20/20.
