Another Sussex collapse. Riz and Carter gave the usual false hope and then it all fell apart.

214 behind on the first innings, waiting to see if we have to follow on.

Only good thing to say is the guy from BBC Derby commentating with Adrian Harms is quite easy to listen to in the background while working

Losing 3 wickets in 4 balls is very Sussex 2022.

I consider myself very fortunate to have lived through the early 2000s as a Sussex fan. We almost certainly won't see days like those again.

It would help if the players that we help develop or reinvigorate didn't keep leaving or if the England set up didn't completely decimate our bowling attack. Just what HAVE they done to Robinson?

Talking of false hope...

Derbyshire 57/5 in the second innings. 4 wickets already for Brooks!

Under way at Eaton Road.

Sussex are chasing 342 to win. Have made a good start with no wickets down yet.

Might as well go for the win as Sussex won't be able to bat out two and bit sessions.

Is is really only £5 a ticket at the moment?
I know we've been poor but I'd heard it was this cheap, you'd think they might make more of a thing about it.

From £5 for U14 I think

Looks like we've adopted the Bazzball approach - going for it.

Ali Orr (Ali Orr, Ali, Ali Orr) going well.

No idea what pitch is like as haven't watched yet today but this could be worth following. If you're close enough to the ground get down there and support the lads.

Draw looks odds on. Either win roughly equally likely?

Just watched a couple of overs. Looks like spinners are able to contain. Sussex unlikely to be too expansive when a solid draw would be a very acceptable result.

Hope I'm wrong and it does get interesting in a good way.

Free entry for all now rest of this afternoon.
