I sense a classic Sussex collapse is in play.

Finn bowling to give them the win. Had been starting to believe we could do it but 18 in one disastrous over from Finn.

Couple of quick wickets this morning but it will do little good: Madsen loves scoring runs against Sussex and Masood loves scoring runs against anyone. It will be 200 odd for two at tea

Good old Wayne Madsen.
Cashing in against Sussex yet again.

Apologies for my rather flippant remark at tea. Of course Sussex have now got Madsen firmly back in his box.

It’s stumps, and he’s only advanced to, um, 171no….

A lovely day at the cricket. But can anyone shed any light on the 40 or so Afghan kids who also enjoyed themselves. Very noisy but seemed to enjoy the day.

11-14(ish) July at Hove v. Leicestershire.

Looks like this game will decide if Sussex can hang onto the Wooden Spoon.

Out of interest... Derbyshire, Somerset, Northants and Glamorgan are the teams we're chasing hard at the moment in the all-time worst of the drongo section list.

Rashid Khan fans. He is currently Afghanistan's brightest cricket talent.
