Seven and bit overs left, presume Weisse now has full permission to play in T20 mode.

See his partner is from the same bit of Sussex that Ed Joyce was... :p

Big ask this for a very young, inexperienced bowling attack. Comfortably less senior appearances between them, than the Surrey top order have Test caps.

Giles Haywood was the previous youngest apparently.

Not even close - Haywood was 19 years and 310 days old when he made his only first class appearance

I doubt whether Haywood is in the top 10 youngest

EDIT; Just looked up Haywood's only match in 1999 (we lost)

Have a guess who scored a century against us (this won't take many guesses)

I went to school with Giles Haywood. I was a few years older and captain of one of the school cricket teams. Aged 13, Giles was a confident lad so I stuck him in the team for what was an important game. I opened up Along with the best batter in the school. Both fell early to the quickest bowler in the school. (I was run out, not grounding my bat - literally a schoolboy error). Number three also fell cheaply.
In comes Giles (who was a small 13 year old) and he bossed it, along with his Slightly older brother. I’ll never forget the assurance he showed that day. They both got half centuries against an intimidating attack. I asked him “can you bowl?” Of course he could, a fairly speedy midget steaming in. It came as no surprise that he went further in the game, and I was sad he didn’t hit the heights for us or Notts. He would have been a very handy T20 player, if his time had come a little later.
It goes to show how good you have to be to become an established player, even at county level.

Oh dear just tuned back in. I see we have Surrey just where we want them.

1 down

Can Surrey get docked points for producing a flat wicket.

Just tried to watch yesterday's play highlights on YouTube. Wtf is going on with a dodgy rave soundtrack? Who is that aimed at?
