As an aside, I see Ian Bell is playing his final First Class game today for Warwicks.

Watched him play a gorgeous double century against us at Horsham just before he became a Test Player.

I was there for that. It was the same day that we played Swindon in the second leg of the play-offs - what a day

Anyone got any idea why Ollie Robinson isn't playing?

He was named in the squad hopefully he is not injured. Perhaps tactics on a batting wicket, not to exhaust him.

Also just looked at the squad we have got about 8 players in their who can bowl.

Fantastic knock by Haines.

Hope him and Brown can push us towards maximum batting points tomorrow.

Hearing rumours about a mass exodus of talent from Sussex, will this actually happen or just more Covid related gossip?

Do we have any talent?

Plenty of counties will be eyeing up Robinson and I can't see Wells hanging around. Evans has already gone. If Wright were younger, he may well be going but he may as well see out his career at Sussex now but Briggs may be looking elsewhere.

The obvious big talent is Archer but I can't see many counties rush for him as he won't play many games.

I hope you don't lose Rawlins though, I think he's going to be very decent.

Ah, I've just seen why Robinson isn't playing - he and his wife have just had a baby.
That's a fair excuse :)

Can't imagine that would wash with Brian Close... :lolol:

Anyway, back to the Oval, no doubt yesterday was a fluke and an Epic Sussex collapse is on its way.

Think they need to push on now, only 10 more overs before bonus points unavailable. Weise has it in him to hit a few boundaries?
