most of that went on infrastructure so yes, we are doing it the right way- or at least trying to. We're frequently outbid for players by other championship teams (mostly those who benefit from the failure bonus (parachute payments)) so it's not like we're spending wild sums of money on players

You say that, but we did throw between ONE or TWO million at Liege for Anthony Knockaert :nono:

In some cases we get outbid whilst the player is en route to Sussex and on the M25

And next up is CPFC2010 v Boro.

Boro will be targetting three points for sure. They have a great chance to break free against a team that is very fragile at home. CPFC2010 will see this as a must win game but may not be able to cope with that pressure.
They're all must win games from here on in, just like yours are if you want to avoid yet more play off misery :)

11/10 on Palace staying up. Their problem has been the players attitude and I think they have the manager to get the players to pull their fingers out and stay up.

The trouble with Palace is they play as individuals and not a team. Big sums spent on players doesn't always mean results

We've spent 44 seasons playing in the same division as eachother. So not quite "almost every point".

44 out of nearly 100, most of which were actually before World War Two. How many seasons in the last 50 years, pray?

And of those seasons in only TWO out of FIFTY did Albion play at a higher level.
