I just did a search on Google Images for "Ben Andrews" ready to post a photo of him but the first picture in the index disturbed me.

Explains the name though. ha ha.

PS, NSFW!!!!!!

I wouldn't want a Republican ever before, or ever again.
NONE of those Bush cronies ought to be anywhere near anything to do with power.

Obama looks and sounds the part, but I don't know as much about him as I'd like to. Nobody knows if he is capable and can lead.

I see no reason not to want Hillary, she shrugs off the terrible "evil woman" spin they've tried to smear her with (if only more people would see through that), and she looks like she can arrange Clinton Pt2 Government but without the same mistakes and bull from their own party (too many idiots around them at the first time, didn't support enough to keep a house majority, and then Gimpy Gore didn't support at all either, so he didn't get in - what a complete twat!).

Hillary Clinton for me, but Obama wouldn't be objectionable.

Can we talk politics rather than me - or do i need to start contemplating a restraining order against you?

:thud:

I did hear that McCain is disliked by a lot of Republicans due to his willingness to do deal with Democrats on Senate votes, which may help his cause as something of a consensus candidate.

I wouldn't trust a Republican as far as I could throw one, so don't believe that the 'dislike' or 'his willingness' is anything but a sham to get Democrats, or disappointed Republicans on his side. That would, after all, be his ONLY chance of becoming Pres, so they HAVE to pretend they aren't seeing things the same way!

You have to look beyond what's put in front of you, with politics.

(and I reckon Cameron is the worst leader the tories could ever have, so he should never get to run this country)

Marvellous stuff. A debate about the American presidential elections ending up with a censored cock.

Could only happen on NSC!

hmmm

Strong defender re-joining Worthing in October 2005 after spells with Burgess Hill Town and Horsham YMCA. Played for Brighton as a seventeen year old. Very effective in the air and likes to get forward. Spent much of 2006-07 as a centre-forward, and was the club’s top scorer in that season. In 2007/08 was made Club Captain and regularly writes a columnexclusively for worthingfc.com.

Good policies, well educated, human rights lawyer, that wouldn't cope with half the crap that Bush has tried to sweep under the carpet - eg Abu Ghraib. He also seems more dependable than the other applicants.

And I don't like Clinton, she's another smarmy politician, who is a mug enough to stick with her husband.

Can't argue with the sentiment behind that; I suppose the question is, how much he would actually be able to achieve if elected?

He has such limited experience of governance, that he would have to turn to the grandees of the party. He'd then be saddled with all the pork and vested interests that come with that, and disappoint all the high-minded people that voted for him.

Away from the Obama bit, I think it's the way a president deals with the ambiguities of office that defines how succesful he is, rather than the moral stance taken on this issue, or that issue. This is where I believe McCain will appeal to voters, as he appears to better know his own mind than the two remaining democrats.

But then that's just an opinion about politics, so it could be bullshit based on bullshit!!

:dunce:
