There's only a handful of clubs in England that Potter would go to now.

#TeamsLike Sunderland, Villa, Leicester, Everton etc. are just deluded if they think they are included in that group.

Slightly misleading thread title: one deluded fan on twatter says they should go after Potter...

Yes, it's just one hopeful opinion. I would imagine that having lost a manager to Stoke they might be thinking with more sober judgement.

Maybe go for Nathan Jones...

I think he has a point, if Potter leaves then Brighton will probably return to its historical position around 3rd or 4th division, with occasional seasons in the 2nd tier.

However, Sunderland is a sleeping giant and deserve to be back in the big time.

They are truly entitled to poach managers like Potter from EPL sides. I’m surprised they haven’t convinced more current EPL mangers to join them whilst they have been languishing in the lower divisions to be honest. The funny thing is, when they were last plucking the shiniest fruit from our trees, it ended up poisoning them.

This tweet would have been a lot more interesting if it had been posted this coming Tuesday night, after say, 21:15. Currently Potter has us in 4th place, I suspect that he can take us a little further yet.

If they take Potter, we should take Pep. Surely he's taken City as far as he can?

I'm aware you're being facetious, but I don't think this is true anymore. Can't be bothered to double check, but I think that as of last season we have spent more time in the top two divisions than the bottom two since WW2. Pretty sure that makes us massive

I don`t think anyone deserves Prem footy it has to be earned , although i am glad back to back Euro winners Forest are back , not keen on Sunderland .
