Sunderland - Seats remaining....

Postie just delivered my mail and he had a sunderland shirt on. Asked him if he was going, and he said yes, in the home stand as Sunderland had sold out. Apparently they are waiting to hear if they will get any more tickets - but he didn't want to risk it.

Don't know if anyone can confirm. but if true, dam impressive they have sold 2500. I guess the extra tickets are the southern most East stand block. I personally hope we keep it, as still confident of selling it ourselves.

currently less than 150 tickets left in the North, with limited availability in 8 of the remaining 18 blocks.

I would be astonished if they sold 2500.

So what would be the best stand kingcole? I was planning on paying at the gate, had no idea it would sell out. May not bother now as I won't really enjoy the match without cheering etc. But have train ticket so its now a toss up of staying in London or sitting in Brighton stand

You can't pay on the gate.....have to order online or over the phone and collect at the ground. I would go West stand upper or WSL close to the away phones.

To be honest, you won't have a problem in any stand. If you prefer a quieter time, go as far south as you can in the east stand. Slightly noisier in the West. If you are in the WSL or East, there is every chance a friendly steward might escort you to the south stand. This would not be possible from the WSU. You would get some sticky in the north (friendly stick).

If you have a nipper with you, go for the family stand (north end of East) although you will have to ring to book this.

This will prob be a home sellout - so get your skates on. No pay on the gate option, but buy in advance and collect tix at ground is easy

Fecking hell! Possible sell out. What does your ground hold? Seriously thought I could just tip up at the away turnstiles and pay at the gate. Not sure what to do now

Leeds - but not the dirty bit
Suspect your lot didn't ask for many. Could try ringing our ticket office and see if they will will sell you an away ticket for pick up at the stadium.

22500 - away end holds 2500.

Even if there were only going to be 10,000 attending, it would still not be POTG - part of getting our planning application thru, I beleive

I think everyone has missed the key issue here: what was your postman doing wearing a Sunderland shirt? Surely he should be in his Royal Mail uniform, I think you should register a formal complaint.

Perhaps he was a temp and hadn't been issued with his uniform yet

Im not keen on the Carling cup hence why im not going, if it was the F.A cup then I would probably consider going.

Same for me. No interest in League Cup at this stage.
Getting knocked out of the 2 minor cups last Summer aided the fantastic league campaign.
