More a case of ‘you see Roberto, if you’d been a bit more patient and listened to what we told you all this could have been yours. Instead you pissed your pants because I wouldn’t chuck money at expensive players that don’t fit my strategy’. Mindset hasn’t changed at all, we’d have done this if he was still here and acting sensibly.

Am I the only one who thinks TB & PB are giving the “V” sign to RDZ?
We have/are spending decent money and are investing in quality players that can really make a difference.
IMO, the mindset has changed with the new manager and we are looking good.

TB being ready to invest heavily and having ambitious plans for the playing side was being reported and discussed as far back as Feb, long before RDZ left (although I think his cards were already marked by then).

Yes. Kadioglu is 25 in a few weeks. Interesting that this season though - Osman, ACDuberry, Yalcouye, Buonanotte, Moran, O Mahony all loaned or likely to be loaned this season whereas - partly due to injuries - RDZ leant heavily on teenagers. (And does Fab fancy Barco ? )

Why ? RDZ was given a window with Verbruggen, Baleba, Pedro, Igor, Milner , Dahoud and Ansu Fati. And lost Caicedo / AliMac
Is it massively different in terms of ££ spent to Minteh, Wieffer, Gruda, Rutter, and Kadioglu and losing Gross/Undav

Bloom is no slouch in windows.

Probably depends on the game as to what type of player he wants. Perhaps Barco will be used in home games against teams coming for a point.

Given Dyche's only tactic seemed to be to play the long diagonal to Harrison, I think FH got it spot on in picking the LB that is better in the air. I wouldn't read too much into the selection for one game.

Strong reporting of incoming for O Riley, Kadioglu , and then all manner of reporting about exits/loans (Sima, Lamptey, Barco, Sarmiento, O Manony, Yalcouye, ACD) and still expecting no place in the squad for Dahoud and Moder. And no confirmation where we are with the 3 keepers...
