Got that spot on.

Wonder when the 4 month ban will start.

If it's from now it won't affect his club to much

Oh I don't know. Liverpool are going to be without their leading striker until 26th October, it seems.

That's going to go down well then.

If he didn't bite him, what was Gaston Ramirez trying to cover up when he sprinted after Chiellini trying to pull his shirt back up?!

He's not even allowed to enter a football stadium for four months :lolol:

Public protection, one assumes.

I was wondering about this (and actually posted the question to twitter). Surely if he is banned from all football-related activity, that would include attending matches and even training with his club.

Therefore, aside from working on a fitness programme away from his club, surely the 26th October is actually the date he may resume training with Liverpool.

Look on the bright side, Liverpool fans. At least you won't be selling him.

It would be difficult to inforce this, i personally think he should be allowed to train - other wise will FIFA be covering his wages?

Best thing is, it won't put off real/barca etc like pool fans wanted

Am seeing some suggestions that the ban includes administrative football transactions, so he can't move clubs either.

I make it that if the ban is immediate, then he will miss Liverpool's first 9 league matches

Its a 9 match international ban so he cannot play for Uruguay until they've arranged lots of friendlies between now and September. The 4 month ban means he cannot play or train with the team at club level. He won't play for Liverpool again , there will be a transfer rushed through and he'll be off to a Spanish club.
