I've just read the Bognor match report from the Argus:

"Mark McCammon, at full stretch, headed over from Jarrett's cross, then got in a mess in front of goal and somehow blocked his own shot with his non-kicking foot"

:nono:

That is one of the funniest things I have read.

Then can you explain the point to Mark McCammon and giving Molango a long term deal?

Based on last seasons friendlies not one person thought signing Molango was a bad idea. He was worth a punt on cheap as cheaps wages and it didnt work out, that happens to all managers at all clubs. Morinho and Kezman, Ferguson and Kleberson, Wenger and Jeffers etc etc etc

McCammon, although not great added physical presence up front when it was lacking before he came and at least gave us an option to play a different way when required.

Does it really need explaining to you? :shootself

I still don't see why Molango wasn't given a chance, I think its clear McGee has his favourites. Take Watson for example a class above the rest, Mickey thinks so.....

Still were in the Championship and MMcGee has done well given the fact we ad no cash!! I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

I think its a good signing in a way, but i hope he aint another Mark Mccammon.

So, in which ways is it a good signing?

Far too much like Mcphee for my liking. IMHO would add nothing to the squad

We need to rebuild with the lost of Virgs, and plus there aint a perfect centre forward!! Your opinion sucks what do you know and MM doesnt?

So, because I do not agree with you, my opinion is wrong?

I (as I said) don't think he adds anything to the squad, after seeing him play at Lewes. He's just another Chris Mcphee, who IMO isn't up to it at this level.

but he gave him a three year contract. hence making him not so cheap.

So you are judging him on 60 minutes of football with a team full of strange people and not speaking the language. McGhee must have seen something in training. I was impressed with his touch and movement - just the shot was lacking on the day.

I saw him play at lewes and hes not that good he just hogs the ball he cant hold it up.and if he shoots it goes way over the bar!!!!

I agree with those who said the Argie guy didn't look that impressive at Lewes, you look for two things in a forward, is he skillful and tricky, or is he strong and intimidating. He looked neither on that showing.

But I agree even more with those who say 60 mins is no way to judge a player and MM wouldn't bring in someone unless he spotted some potential (either in training or video footage) that could be worked on. :drink:

Whatever happened to Lorenzo Pinamonte, the bloke who was supposed to be Bobby Zamora? I know he chose Brentford over us (what a mistake-a to make-a!) & got released after a year or so, but where is he now?

As I recall, he was a big 6'3 galoot - can't we ring him up & see if he fancies a kickabout?
