Not met as such, but converted a little kid into an Albion fan in Malawi. If you are ever in that neck of the woods and you see a chap wearing a (Man Utd style) Sandtex shirt then you know how it happened.

And may one ask exactly what you did to convert this LITTLE KID into becoming an albion fan ? :p :lolol:

Olympic Stadium, Berlin for Ukraine v Tunisia (oapdodge and friends)

and in 2002 bumped into a Jap who had the stripes on in Niigata for England v Denmark but didn't have a clue who we were. She knew about skint records though.

and a few in the bars and pubs of Abu Dhabi.

Worthing
Arriving at Atlanta Airport a few years ago, I'd just picked up my bag and golf clubs to find a bloke standing nearby wearing a shirt with "Seagulls" written on the front.

He lived there and was picking up his daughter who had flown in to visit. He also gave me the good news that we'd beaten Sheff Wed that afternoon 2-0 :clap2: Must have been 3 seasons ago.

A local squaddie came up to me on Saturday as I was wearing a BHA t shirt and said hello and told me there were also a few others at the barracks, which was a bit of a shock.

Also remember years ago going to the South of France, and we stopped at a random petrol station somewhere only for some bloke to approach my dad and say he never thought he would see another Albion fan here.

Birmingham and Austria
In about 1992 I was on holiday in the US. One day we drove down to Biloxi, where the beach was deserted apart from a bloke hiring out the jet-skis, who was from Brighton and an Albion fan. That evening our party got dropped off on Bourbon Street in New Orleans and on the opposite side of the street was a bloke in an Albion shirt. The first bar we went into we queued behind an english group who all turned out to be from Brighton. Three lots in one day!

I'm always on the lookout when I go away and the first time I actually did see somebody I got such a shock until it suddenly dawned on me that I was in Churchll Square at the time.
