This song was instrumental (?) in me leaving the Navy.
My first son was just 3 months old when my ship sailed for Australia, an 8 month deployment. I phoned Mrs LLF from Singapore, it was in the days before mobiles and emails, and she was in tears on the phone, the baby was teething and had a vicious ear infection, the boiler had packed up, and we had a mice infestation in our house. It was a bit difficult to do anything from 6,000 miles away, but, after phoning my parents, it nearly all got sorted.I went back to the ship and this song was on in the mess.
I put my notice in the next day, and left 18 months later.
