20 pages and so far no mention of The Decemberists.
They regularly have 'story songs' and often write about historical events and folklore and Colin Meloy has a wonderful knack of writing lyrics. They're tremendously fun live, too.

As I said at the beginning of this thread, I love a story song, so today, after decorating the house to death, cleaned and polished the car, sorted out the junk in the loft room, I am going to spend the day in my shed, making wooden toys (a tractor and trailer and maybe a helicopter) and listening to all the tracks on this thread I have never heard.
