Suns back out, thunder has stopped - still a few clouds in the sky though. Not an inch of rain, how odd!

Was out in the garden watching it all last night and wondered how EXCITING it would be to go storm-chasing in the USA

I came to the conclusion that you need to be a MENTALIST to do that stuff out of choice.

Then do it from the comfort of your own home in the modern way

Last night you could see three separate storms convolving just to the west of the island. Then they came in land and watered the garden for me in a quite spectacular style (didn't do the greenhouse though :jester: )

Bit of thunder at Falmer.

That noise probably did not come from the Sky!

Just warm and sticky this side of the road in Falmer. No thunderstorm as predicted by the weather forecast in West Hoathly last night - spent the evening keeping the cats away from a snake in the garden! I was like Indian Jones - not sure what snake it was, about a foot long, silver and moved very quickly when it wanted to!! Luckily (for the snake) it slithered off into the bushes before I could throw it in the neighbours garden!

Did Canning fill the role of the boulder rolling down the stairs?
