Cracking lightening in Guildford last night but very little rain. Warm and sunny here today.

The snake you saw was probably Norman Baker

Just looked on the Internet and I now think it was probably a slow worm. If it come out again I will name it Norman in his honour!

So infact I saw a legless lizard rather than a snake.....and according to the pages I have just read they are often killed by cats.....slow worms eat slugs so they are welcome to set up home in our garden

Then do it from the comfort of your own home in the modern way

Last night you could see three separate storms convolving just to the west of the island. Then they came in land and watered the garden for me in a quite spectacular style (didn't do the greenhouse though :jester: )

That is a pretty cool site.

Yesterday afternoon it went as dark as night here in Buenos Aires. It was like the eclipse all over again!

Then we had a 15 minute hailstorm where I saw golfball sized hailstones for the first time in my life. From the apartment it sounded like a war zone outside.

14 people were hospitalised with head injuries and lots of cars damaged!

I sat in my van and had lunch whilst watching the storm float of Cuckfield. Even got out and stood in the rain for 10mins as it was bloody refreshing!

Monday looks good....only 19degrees!
