Not worth it, because they - like Blur - are only really doing it because there's astronomical money involved. Although anyone who says Spike Island was gash because of the performance is missing the point. Ian Brown never has been able to sing - for the past few years he hasn't been able to hold a note or keep time with the band. But he has a supernatural stage presence which knocks almost every great singer I can think of right now into a miniature speaker.

You are quite right Ian Browns voice was the least of the worries.

Crap sound, crap transport links, not enough food, not enough drink, not enough bogs. And so it went on.

The Ally Pally gig was shit as well.

BUT what f***ing great times!

Bring it on again!

And why not?

Why shouldnt they make some money?

They never did twenty years ago.

They earnt plenty 20 years ago but spent loads too...thats what young rock stars do.
I dont deny them or anyone any money...it is a shame because the time has come & gone & its just not the same..
They had one of the finest debut albums of any band at any time...that was 20 years ago....
HOWEVER i love this band & will go see them, im sure they will do the V festival or gigs in that there london
