I reckon every free kick or corner he headed out. Yes he gave the ball away twice cheaply and got done once but other than that was class. In stoppage time he won 3 or so headers and just attacked the ball. I do wonder if people miss the little things sometimes…Wow really? Dunk was awful tonight, only had to look at his face when got MOM
'Slight knock' i think. Perv possibly a bit longer...Was March injured?
Give our young players time - the talent is there but team pairings and communication skills (such as March and Lallana have, or that Mac Allister and Caicedo have for example, take time to develop - especially with the amount of rotation we have under RDZ and he is also still trying out these young players in different positions to see what sticks best. I think Facu and Undav’s lack of communication (which led to Fulham’s goal against us) is an example of that weakness - Literally language barriers and a lack of experience in the team.Very good shout. A distinctive lack of fluidity around the area.
Sarmiento and Goodnight have tons of potential bit they're miles off the same level currently.
that’s what i meant by ‘faultless’ - if anyone from our side was MOTM, it should be himSteele was immaculate tonight
Agreed. Forwards are always judged more harshly than other positions.Hardly an open goal. Took a yellow card for the team, played a couple of decent balls and linked up play. Not really sure why he gets so much grief. Not like he’s had a decent run in the team.
Yes, in the Fulham game. Was March injured?
It’s the first time we’ve won in Stoke since 1961.Time for ITV to roll out the old cliche that we need a centre forward … one of the highest scoring teams in 2023…
Stoke made it tough for a reshuffled side with quite a lot of youngsters. The type of game we’d have lost many times through the years. I’m happy enough!
Like Dunk, or Caicedo, or macallister, Lamptey......He’s really not, keeps giving the ball away
Caicedo was superbLike Dunk, or Caicedo, or macallister, Lamptey......
