Let Stockdale go for free. Waste of £2m. Walton is 10 times better.
Good thing we didn't pay £2 million then.

Stockdale is our No.1 'keeper and will be for a few years yet. And rightly so. I can't quite believe this is up for discussion. In the 38 games I saw this season I cannot think of one occasion where I thought his inclusion on the teamsheet made me feel uneasy. Stockdale is a marvellous goalie and we are lucky to have him here.
Walton is one for the future, I trust the club to nurture his progress
Yeah all 3 of them made great goalkeepers lol
Hilarious! You know exactly what I meant. And there are many top goalkeepers who have been on loan to further their progress.
I am not sure that Walton is ready for week in week out playing in The Championship where he is under scrutiny from any mistake. Although I was not impressed by his many mistakes last season I think that DS will come good next season and the way forward is to send Walton out on loan to a div 1 side. It must be remembered that most of DS mistakes, which got the crowds on his back, was when he first arrived and having worked with Niemi he has improved. His major problem seems to be with decision making when to come when to stay and lining up the wall but it will come and improve next season.
He made plenty of mistakes after xmas as well. If we lose Walton for Stockdale then its another classic brighton coaching disaster

I don't think we actually know whether Walton is better or not but the last game of the season gave you an indication that he is looking for an alternative to Stockdale
I really hope we loan out Walton to get him away from the spotlight of our so called fans. A couple of years ago I remember the same criticism of Poyet for not playing Forster-Caskey, who was amazing according to NSC. Look at him now and the abuse he gets on here. Simple fact is that, while Walton is very popular with fans at the moment (mainly because they don't like Stockdale), if he makes a couple of mistakes, he'll be crucified on here. And, as a young goalkeeper, he will make mistakes. So better for him to make them for another club and come back to Brighton in a year's time having shown he can be a first choice keeper.
No, it doesn't. It shows he wanted to give a game to a young goalkeeper who had only played two first team games before.[/Q
HE IS LOKKING FOR AN ALTERNATIVE - I know that from something that was said to me after a game near the end of season from not quite the horses mouth but near enough
You have a superiority complex over your fellow fans. Im proud of our support now as I was in the Archer years.People saw the mistakes of Stockdale and the disaster of last summer in all depertments. Like fans up and down the country them commented on it. The problem is the coaching footballing failures at the club and losing Walton for Stockdale has all the hallmarks of yet another one. CMS for Murray, Penney over Ian Wright, the lads at Bournemouth, its not new, this club has a great history of failure. Stockdale and lose Walton? We just fear yet another Albion coaching disaster.

That's not the same thing. You said playing Walton told you that. This is not true. If you've heard it from another source, then fair enough but Walton playing the last game of the season is not relevant.
Why do people keep quoting losing Wright and Keane they were decisions made by the manager at the time on advice from his scouting team. These people have changed and mistakes will be made. As regards Elphick and Cook neither were in contention for a first team place and it could never have been seen that Elphick would fully recover from his long term injury, many havent. No manager can ever expect to not make mistakes in buying and selling as Sir Alex has shown. The only manager I can remember who sold players who never went on to better things, that I can think of is George Graham at Arsenal.and even he may have but I cant think of any.

I know CH and the other coaching staff very well and you hear one or two things in passing You never know for sure what is really being considered without asking outright. Then when you see Walton getting played in last game of the season, it reconfirms some of the things heard previously. That's why I said playing Walton made me think he is looking at other options to Stockdale
