I would like to step in and back Steward 433. I think he is a great poster and decent bloke and has been very reasonable on these pages. I still believe after 4 days the Steward Saturday was a complete cock and thug and is a loose cannon. If allowed to behave like that he will cause a problem next season.

Thank you Gareth

p.s. you have an email waiting on the remf site from my head office

Whats the fuss if run on the pitch you are at risk of getting heavily dealt with by the authorities. Don't run on the pitch then there is no problem.

Couldnt agree more - i cant comment on the steward being too rough because i wasnt there and didnt see it but the fact remains if the boy didnt try to get on the pitch he would never have been put in an "arm lock" (or whatever happened), had he sat in his seat to enjoy the game like most normal fans there would be no issue.

Secondly calling Steward 433 "smug" and "unpleasent" based on an internet thread is, to say the least, unfounded - i am his wife i know him far better than anyone on here and he is not a smug or unpleasent person as a whole, yes he may have opinions that some people might see as unpleasent but you will never meet a person who doesnt, fact of life - you cant agree with all the people all the time. Before anyone says i am only defending him because im his wife - not at all, as with most wives if i think he is wrong im first in line to tell him so, but as i said he is not an unpleasent person as a whole.

Worthing
I am going to get my wife to vouch for me on here.
She will confirm that I spend too much time drinking and watching football.

You state in your post that supporters stand at most premiership matches on a weekly basis. Do you have photographic and video evidence to back this up. You cannot make assumptions without evidence.
Points can be deducted. i remember some time last season when man utd or (manure) as you so nicely put it were repremanded for having supporters that stood at home matches. ONLY THREATENED BY THE COUNCIL NOT THE FOOTBALL AUTHORITIES
Now unless i am mistaken Withdean is all seater which means whether you like it or not you should sit down. Just because supporters at other grounds may stand up does mean that we have to follow suit.

In fact i think that that you would be surprised to hear that most supporters at the withdean prefer to sit on their seats.

WHAT KIND OF f***ing MORON IS THIS

no.i just have sky sports and see it every week...........

even euefa seem happy with standing at champions league semi finals

you want to sit? fine. me? in the back row obstructing only the view of the trees,i want to stand

WHAT IS WRONG WITH THAT?

Against ground regulations. Not safe to stand in a seating area due to the height of the seat in front.

If you slipped and broke a knee, leg or ankle and lost earnings then you would be looking to sue the club!!

I wish they would bring in SAFE terracing as i know a lot of fans would like to stand.

All the people that whinge about standing are they members of sit down stand up?? Have they written to the FL to complain about lack of terracing??

Probably not!

Because i am

A. not a supervisor
B. not in the right part of the ground
C. i would never condone it as if i was working that part of the ground then i would get them to sit down too.

Which professional body are you part of in your job?

I am CMIOSH
