Nowadays Spielberg is a wasted talent, no disgrace, Hitchcock's last decade was poor and Kubrick's last film was utter shit. Altman did OK, Malick's resurgence stalled after the GLORIOUS Thin Red Line (head and shoulders above Saving Private Cliche), Almodovar normally delivers but is waning.

I [REALLY f***ing BIG]LOVE[/not BIG] Spielberg's films from his era .... I will be delighted if he gets his mojo back ... War Horse ain't it ....

and George Lucas can f*** right off

whoah! (image of skinny orphan wiping tear from eye to John Williams soundtrack)

John Williams ALWAYS does Spielberg's scores as you should know being an expert of Cinema. I think Spielberg also deserves great credit especially from these shores for continually coming to the UK to make his films, employ our technicians and use our acting talent. Spielberg kept the film authentic by using a complete cast of British actors , totally unknown in his homeland which has had a devastating impact on the box office there as they tend to like to go to films with major stars involved. It looks like War Horse will be one of his worst performing films ever at the box office and this is a large part of it. He also has done massive business for the Tourism trade in Devon and Dartmoor but all this is forgotten to all his snipers who can't wait to give a him a good kicking. The bloke just can't win.

There will be blood is very over rated imo. The others average. Inception is superb as is Eden Lake.

I do really like Eden Lake. It is a very tough watch but brilliant in its execution and has the hottest talent around now in Fassbender who is a superb actor imo.

THANK YOU!

I have never seen Somewhere in Time or August Rush and know nothing about them .... I've stuck and prioritised them on my Love Film list .... I don't care what genre they are if someone who loves films recommends me a film I'll watch it, the less I know the better

PS "Red State"

The scene with the Deer is one of my favourite scenes of all time and pivotal in the film. Fearless is very good.
