He's only just signed for us. He'll honour his contract. He's focused on us.

Banana?

I never Post bullshit!!!

"It is one of those situations where we will see what emerges but all I am asking for in the meantime is for the attitude to be there. We need that commitment or we will be in a lot of trouble in this division. We need people who will sweat blood for the club - that is the least the fans demand."

Paying tribute to Roeder, Brooking said: "It is difficult as you couldn't get a more genuine, decent and committed person than Glenn. I can understand the upset he and his family must be feeling. I couldn't respect him any more and have to say he is an absolute gentleman. I feel huge sympathy for him regarding the illness but of course he showed a lot of courage coming back from that."

The club are likely to take up to three weeks before they name a successor, and they will probably look for a manager with a track record of success in the First Division.

That could rule Oldham manager Iain Dowie, George Graham and Reading manager Alan Pardew. Brighton boss Steve Coppell, who has an excellent record in the Nationwide League, is another name to be considered

SC is imo better than anyone else on the list of candidates but I feel (hope) that he sees his future with us.

West Ham have a reputation of selling players against the manager's wishes. I expect SC is an integral part of decision making here so why would he want to move to a club where players may be sold without his approval.

West Ham fans are fickle and think that the club is bigger than it is. I remember an edition of 606 where a number of West Ham fans phoned up saying it was time for Rednap to move on as he had taken the club as far as he could. They were 6th in the Premiership at the time.

This is just papers throwing random names into a hat to cover all eventualities. At this stage only the West HAm board know who's on the shortlist.

Wouldn't be surprised if SC was on the shortlist of managers for the job. If they were looking to employ a Nationwide manager, Coppell must be rated at the very top along with Pardew, Hart and a couple of others. If I was on the West Ham board, I know who I would choose!!! Just hope SC would prefer to stay with us. He does seem to be incredibly loyal so I reckon he'll stay.

He's under conrtract, DK should say to West Ham (assuming they do come in for him) "that'll be £5mil please"
I mean players are sold when under contract for large sums of money, why not managers? these pathetic tribunal or compensation payouts mean nothing, a good transfer fee is whats required!

I dont think he'll go anyway.....I hope!

I reckon Pardew will go there. Hell struggle badly to turn them around and Reading will be f***ed. Everyones a winner!

That would be excellent, then Reading fans would have just an inkling of how much Pardew has pissed us off over the last couple of seasons and what a tosser he is. Of course he could then poach Reading players, Sidwell 1st please.
