Sorry but there are threads about various other candidates, so l'm just joining the throng, and starting one about my man.

The one time heir apparent to many on NSC should GP ever move on, but seemingly less support for him on here now.

Very similar footballing philosophy to you know who, also served his appreticeship in the Championship, turned Forest from relegation candidates to promotion winners in an instant.

l hope Tony knows the std code for Nottingham.

I know a Forest season ticket who loves him. Apparently Cooper has fallen out with the owners and didn't want half the players they bought... that kind of stuff affects performances on the pitch. I would be supportive of Cooper for sure

Bloom has his principles I just don't really see us going for a manager already in a job.

But regardless forest have massively more financial might than us and are a bigger ckub. I don't see this happening.

Out of his depth in the PL the Bournemouth caretaker did him tactically second half with no reply from Cooper.

Based on ONE game, and so early in the season? . . . Crikey.

Graham Potter didn't exactly hit the ground running in his first few games either.

When Potter was good he was brilliant, but he has been outthought tactically on a fairly regular basis, most recently at Fulham. It happens

Well if Bloom won't go for a manager who is already in a job, where on earth does that leave us! GP was in a job when we hired him after all.

Not much good choice if you be rule out managers in jobs! Would rule out moost of those being suggested including Cooper and the Norwegian and Celtic option. Don't think TB will constrain himself that much.

I hope you're right. And it's a very fair point.

Did you not read Barbers piece? He says they look at how they would be able to get managers out of contracts on a degree of difficulty.

Come on dwayne, you gave us the nod on Potter, I need to get some money on somewhere [emoji106]
I get the potter intel from potters side. Had no inclination he was going to Chelsea though! If it was anything like his move to Brighton it may have been in the pipeline a while, something the athletic have been hinting at.

Like Cooper and contract is not renewed , runs to next June i believe . Watched Forests game against Spurs and thought they were defensively naive , but played some very good football and created loads of chances .

Cooper didn’t look overly impressed when asked about the multiple signings during the frequent interviews he had to conduct
