At the end of the season.

We’ve been ripped apart. We will do the same to someone else if we have to.

We have got £20m from potter and paying him £2m a year so that’s £22m we have to offer someone a 3 year deal.

£7m a year. Should be able to get poch for that.

He gets my vote as I think it would be a good fit. A clearly intelligent coach with a clear philosophy of how to play, and a club gutted by Chelsea who can offer him the opportunity to build a coaching team exactly how he wants to.

I may be bias but good coaches should be walking over broken glass to take the opportunity we can offer.

If we were looking to go from 15-17 in the league to 12-14 I’d be all over him. I wonder if we’ll attract a foreign up and comer with Continental and top league experience though now we’ve had a better 15 months.

Bloom has his principles I just don't really see us going for a manager already in a job.

But regardless forest have massively more financial might than us and are a bigger ckub. I don't see this happening.

No they don't. Their owner is worth about a quarter of ours. They are no way a bigger club. May have had a bit of success 4 decades ago but are certainly no bigger.

Cooper deserves respect for what he has achieved but is unproven in the Prem and needs to show he can handle a massive squad and knit it together.

Personally, I think he has signed too many players and yet, Cook, McKenna and Worrall are still starting and shipping goals. However, he proved me wrong about Forest last season so we'll see. They're certainly an interesting watch and definitely bring something to the Prem party.

Has a first class reputation for his coaching and development of players. Among all the qualities we'd look for unless we're going to fundamentally change our approach to spending, that's surely priority number one.

It seems some are saying that he wasn't all that involved in the signings and they have instead been foisted on him by the owners with the expectation that he will somehow find a way to make them work. It's not surprising that he might be finding it difficult to get that many players all on the same page. Especially if they aren't exactly the types of signings he would have preferred. It would be a challenge for any manager.

Given that, he might be amenable to dropping that mess and coming to a club that isn't likely to do that to him. And Forest owners, apparently thinking they know more about recruitment than their manager, might be willing to let him go thinking they can get somebody in who's more in tune with their thinking.

Maybe? Just speculating.

It all depends on how one defines "bigger club" really, what is certainly true is that they have enjoyed far more seasons in the top division than the Albion have.

It doesn't. Their ground holds about the same as ours. Their owner is not as rich as ours. Their fanbase is similar. We have a far better current position .History counts for nothing it's now that counts. As their fans are stating almost to a man if we offered Cooper the job he'd be mad not to take it.
