Glad we've covered our financial input, but to laugh at Palace is a bit strange in my opinion. Classy player and Holloway knows how to get the best from him.

He put the effort in for palace
And if he can't cut the mustard next season I'm sure he be loaned back to the championship

Frankly I dont believe we'd have made the playoffs without him. We were in a real rut, he came in, was a bit dodgy at first then bam. A series of MOM performances. My biggest worry going into the playoffs was that Dobbie wasn't available!

I'm glad Brighton fans are happy (though the Telegraph is just plucking a figure out of the air there) as I certainly am. If we'd have paid£1m I'd be chuffed!

True and don't forget we had the same from some of your posters the season murray come to us, he's lazy, uninterested etc etc, and look how that turned out.

So Brighton have brought someone in to ensure the club complies with FFP and that's a bad thing? Only a supporter of a club which went into administration twice in a decade could make that argument.

I'm perfectly happy that Brighton have taken this route. It seems to be Brighton fans (and their ex manager) who find the thought that, despite their mammoth crowds and expensive new stadium, FFP appears to be constraining their investment into the playing side rather than propelling them past all their inferior rivals.

To any normal person with a grasp of English vernacular, it means similar to last year, maybe a bit more, maybe a bit less, but no significant difference.

To you it seems to mean that our playing budget has been cut in half.

I think it can do, but it's not much of a stretch to think it's a bit of a smokescreen from Barber. If it was more, I'd expect him to trumpet the fact that the budget had gone up. If it was staying the same I think he'd say so. Given the context it looks as if either he isn't sure what the budget will be (so he's being deliberately non-committal) or its going down a bit and he's fudging the issue. In light of how much he stresses FFP and increased burdens I suspect it's the latter but you can't know for sure.

With his injury keeping him out for most of the season and when he is fit struggling to compete at the top level his goal scoring average will only be 12 a season. Still Palace can afford a million to pay his wages while Muzza puts his feet up.

So you have forgotten the two admins already have you. Wow

I remember them both very well. Happy to discuss them. But I asked who we stole £40 from. Im guessing from your answer you have no idea, as you don't really care about our administrations it's just a handy stick to try and beat us with.

Nothing wrong with that, just wondering if you were a serious poster or a fool. Glad we've cleared it up :)

Crystal Palace (2010) have only existed for 3 years , they have no previous history and this will be their first stint in the Premier League.

I liked him as a player, before he signed for us, and never thought we gave him a good chance to succeed here with limited game time and played out wide or stuck up front on his own, which I guess is why some people then thought he was lazy. He was never really going to fit our system so was a bit of a funny signing, especially if his wages were as high as suggested.

Seeing that he has scored 20 goals in a couple of seasons here your figures don't add up once next season is taken into account.

Palace fans certainly haven't forgotten those. But interesting to hear your statement of £40m being stolen. If being stolen is having circa £30m being invested into the club by the chairman then I suggest that you take the plank out of your own eye and realise that your club have 'stolen' over £120m in less than a decade if your going to use a skewed logic on it all.

Certainly the fact that some small and local businesses got trodden on in the nasty episode is not a proud moment and it might interest you to learn that many of those businesses are in fact trading with the club again. If you want to let the errant ways of individuals give you some cheap points then I think you need to think on about your own future and what might just happen if Bloom doesn't get you promoted in the short term. FFP is not just coming in this season it is a progressive process where each year the allowed operating losses go down. So how you expect your spending budget for football costs to remain the same is beyond me as it appears that your losses last season already overstep the allowed threshold and that perhaps isn't even mentioning imputed interest TB will have to put on his loan to you to comply with the rules (unless he has capitalised the AMEX already?)

The loss to us hurt you all for many reasons of which the rivalry is the main one. However, for TB and Barber I am sure that they probably saw last season as the golden chance to see the huge investment pay dividends only for a club who in the last three years spend just a fraction of what you have take the goldent ticket.

Frictions between board and coaching staff? You'd better believe it because there was a lot more riding on last season than perhaps many are willing to admit.

I'm certain that there are a fair few of them who aren't best pleased that not only have they freed up the wages for one of their rival's bench warmers and highest earners, but that they have also given us £850k for the pleasure.

He would have been on about 15k a week. Based on that, I make it that Palace have freed up an extra £1.6m for next year's budget. Thanks Palace.

Do you believe everything you read in the media?

Since there was an agreed CVA I believe it is technically the same Crystal Palace, under different ownership (CPFC2010). If we had been liquidated, and the assets bought by CPFC2010 and used to form a new 'Crystal Palace' then it would be a new entity. Though I think Glasgow Rangers fans might argue it was still the same club.
