And our defence concede more when he’s in goal.I do think he did make a save (a 1 on 1), this rotating keepers nonsense does need to go, don’t think it will cost his job, but it is bizarre. They had 5 shots on target and we only conceded three so he did make saves, the defence was to blame today.
The idea that he couldn’t do more with the goals is also laughable. The second and third, in particular, were amateurish goalkeeping. A good Prem keeper saves the second one and faces up Traore for the third, whereas he was so passive, as he often is.
I appreciate Steele seems like a nice guy, but his continued inclusion is a serious issue at this stage and I don’t quite know what else he has to do to lose his place consistently.
