Starting a revolution from my bed
I'll be on the pitch if we stay up after a tense finish. If some up their arse fucker tells me otherwise then they can eat the stale bird shit of my seat at Withdean. Pitch invasions are part and parcel of football. The game has turned sterile enough courtesy of the Premier League, Sky and other tossers who think football is a brand that needs to be commercialised to the maxiumum; therefore I'll be making the most of my oppurunity to celebrate on the pitch with some proper raw emotion.

If memory serves, that was the same golden era of NSC that had the thread by some kind of visiting fan who stated quite clearly that 'The Big Day Is Here - And We Ain't Coming for A Poxy Point' - which they didn't
Mind you if you look at the respective positions of our two clubs now I think they've had the last laugh. No wonder the legendary Laughing Bluebird doesn't post here any more, he'd have to change his user name to something like The Woohooing Leaping Up And Down Beside Himself With Glee Bluebird - which would probably be a bit too long.

Me. !7.00 Saturday 2nd May 2009 Withdean,Brighton,England.

fat bastard.

If you are thinking of invading the pitch, watch out for the H Block steward who loves using his, er, restraint techniques. There's a thread from last home game last season with photos showing what you can expect, and who from. And probably just a coincidence that he was the very same steward left holding the severed leg in the infamous H Block dismemberment incident earlier this season. And who fits the description of the guy who 'restrained' a happy pitch-invader after the Man City game and bust his wrist.

Step lightly. And have a friend take photographs admissable as evidence in a court of law.

Yep i know who you mean, the slightly tubby guy who always has sun glasses on even in the pissing rain. He has thwarted my time in H block for about 5 years since he started parading in front of the stand.

Even at City i was gearing up to run on the pitch. He said to me "your not coming on" like some menacing boxer starring into my eyes and grimacing. I replied " oh I think you'll find i am" and with that Richards scored and i literally launched the fat bastard over my shoulders.

He has hated me since but it was worth it. Hope he isn't a tosser again if we win, either way I will get on the pitch.

Anyway surely these miserable bastards are taking a shine off things by moaning about going on the pitch if we win. If we stop loosing we get ridiculous threads moaning about utter crap. If we win, no when we f***ing win!!! I will be on the pitch celebrating with the players as my reward for going to every home game and traveling to grim northern towns to watch shit football.

And if you are worried about them not doing the lap of honor then don't, as once the fans are cleared the players will come out and do a nervous shuffle around Withdean thinking " Well we have just been confirmed as the 20th worst team in the 3rd division.

Problem is we are on a warning from the Man City game. We could be deducted points and get relegated and it would be the fans fault.

This was my 500th post by the way!

Stop worrying over nothing, we'd have plenty of ground to appeal should this even happen which it wont

Seriously f*** off, i didn't buy a season ticket to watch shit for a whole year then be denied a pitch invasion.

Yep completely agree. The season has been shit and the players don't deserve a lap of honour. However we have been amazing and therefore it is only right that the season should end with us strutting our stuff on the pitch.

And as for the bollocks about the FA deducting us points it really is complete shit isn't it.

On the pitch, on the pitch, on the pitch...

Totally agree, and cant wait to get on the pitch. As for people worrying about a points deduction, almost every team does it last home game/last game of the season, Huddersfield did it, and i believe Northampton also did so last night (all be it for a different reason). This steward in H block, is it the guy in about his 50's, very short hair? I think i know the one everyone is on about, but have sat in B block for years so not completely sure.

And the club don't read this message board???

Come on don't be silly around 85 minutes loads of Stewards are going to be moved to the south stand making it that much more difficult.

I'm not being a jobsworth as I think all the fans deserve something but it's just gonna be a nightmare for all involved if it happens.

(plus it's stewards vs groundstaff afterwards and an invasion would delay this!)

the only way i see it causing trouble is if the stewards act like f***ing twats - its gonna happen - 5,000 odd fans v a few hundred stewards...if they start blocking a select few from getting on all hell will break loose.

you may as well admit defeat and let us on. i have no problem with the Stewards and the regulations they are told to enforce but a few, mainly the one listed above, are utter wankers.

Last game of the season and if we win we stay up and the pitch will be invaded by a load of happy fans.

Makes no difference, we'll be on the pitch regardless of how many you've got. It'll be less than the 2 thousand odd south standers wanting to invade.

Crap Town
There wont be enough stewards to cover the South Stand invaders as they will be deployed to protect the Stockport fans in the away end similar to what happened to us at Huddersfield on Saturday. :)
