Semenyo and Kerkez both completed all 97 minutes v Man City, and 98 minutes v Brentford, before THEN discovering they were too hurty to travel to play for Ghana and Hungary.

If I were a betting chap, I'd wager they just MIGHT recover in time for Saturday's game.

Pray not we deserve some injury luck. Semenyo one of the best players in the EPL at the moment

Gruda hasn’t impressed at all , still yet to see what he has to offer , does not Seem to have that much pace , hasn’t gone passed anyone , crossing not great , doesn’t look like he is going to score many goals

Which is a ridiculously good team, when you consider the number of players we can afford to rest.
Other than the 3 mentioned, that includes Ayari/Ferguson/Gruda/Wieffer/Moder/Enciso/Minteh/March/Milner all being able to be rested

Even more so when you consider we have 10, yes 10, players out injured more than any other Club in the League along with Citeh - as many as we had in the second half of last season so a testimony to how TB built up the squad in the summer.

Also, considering Pep was moaning and groaning about their 10 injuries yet we still managed to beat them.

I don’t know how these footballers do it. I get ill whenever I fly, no matter whether I wear a face mask, eat and drink or not, and any flight longer than an hour or two seems to be knock me on my arse for a day. I’ve caught covid the last two times I’ve flown (double jabbed natch).

I appreciate they are fit young men in great health, but still, flying long haul, training, playing in a match, then flying long haul… it must be absolutely exhausting
