The MCC are crapping themselves about this development. Cricket is/was a middle class sport. How many of the working class can go to a four/five day game of cricket in midweek? Sunday League cricket was popular, but just split up a four/five day game with the same team. Then we had games under the lights in Pro40 and now 20/20.

Watching satellite coverage of the ICL and seeing 25 000 Asian fans going mental at a game is something to behold!
