Really am looking forward to this game and hopefully KP will be clubbing the ball around the ground.

IF all 40 overs are bowled...what time ( our time) will the game finish?

There is a rumour that the half term entertainment might involve Allen Stanford showing his "sexual prowess" at the crease with one of the England cricketer team's partners.

If you know what I mean? ???

Is that why the game is now live only on Channel X ?

Serious post.

Do you think that cricker has become "prostituted" by staging such a match?

It doesn't do much harm unless this goes on and on.

It is a one off and a chance for players to earn some serious money and face facts cricketers are poorly paid compared to other sports.

Problem being that the players set to earn "some serious money" tonight are the ones who have it already?

Not the poor paid cricketers you refer to?

Come on even top cricketers don't get £100k every week...........

You can't blame them and 20/20 draws big crowds and also TV money.

Good post.
These things are relative.
If it raises the profile of the game and means extra money being "pumped into" the game. That's great.
Also if it raises the status of the game in schools rather than football? Then maybe that is not a bad thing as well?

I have no problem with this as long as some of the Pot of Gold works its way down to grass roots level.
