Areas should be available for those who want to stand. It would then make it easier for those who have small children or old folk who can't stand for 2 hours to locate themselves where they won't be inconvenienced.

It is ridiculous that the government won't consider bringing back terracing when EVERY all seater stadium has a problem with people WANTING to stand to watch the game.

It may have to be brought back bit by bit in order to ensure the demand is there, but I have little doubt that the number wishing to stand is sizeable, as it always was in the past.

Just because people have had to put up with all seater stadia for a long time now doesn't mean it feels right.

I'm certain that even those who have never known terracing would find the experience gratifying.

I'd go along with that

Totally disagree with standing at football the biggest and best satdia in the wordl have seating and everybody sits down and everybody can see the onkly exception understandably is when your team scores.

Yes, football is a passionate game, but my bones have aged faster than my passion has! I've got a back problem & cannot stand for 2 hours, however much I want to. I have also taken my children to football since they were very small & they like to see what is going on.

The best grounds to go to at the moment are the ones that let you sit where you want to. Thjose of us that can't stand or have children go down the front, those who want to stand (& hope that they can) go to the back. I'm not against standing, it's just that I would like to be free to chose where I sit, so that I can see the game.

Why such a blanket objection? If you have both areas available, you can sit in peace, and those who want to stand can do so without blocking your view ... better in both ways.

BTW in answer to another point above, you can watch the game by standing at Withdean...stand on the running track beneath the South Stand.
