It annoys me that the "National" parties have hijacked our flag for their political ends. We all know the flag they would like to use but it's not been that popular since 1945!
I was starting to be swayed by the progressive and insightful policies of the NF on their website, but when it came to BANNING PORNOGRAPHY it turned me right off them.

It's difficult to be proud of a country which produces such moronic white trash as the NF and their ilk.

Wise words Fazz, it was however a huge mistake, and the trail of Jelly Tots that led to my white van parked outside Roedean school was due to an unfortunate tear in the tube of them I had just purchased. Sadly, the judge failed to believe my story, but I will be officially off the register in another four years.

Britain has always been a nation of immigrants. Our genetic make up is predominantly Saxon, Viking and Norman. All of those are foreign. Add to that Irish, Roman, other European and, more recently, Asian, and I'm afraid that there is no such thing as pure British. Being a mixed immigrant race is intrinsicly part of being British. The UK has always been a country that has represented freedom and opporunity, welcoming those escaping from persecution in vile regimes, be they, for example, Facist, Communist or ultra Islamic.
Racists like the NF and the BNP, simple and ignorant that they are (bless), confuse the problems of the world as being down to race and religion, and think that pure nation states will make things better. I have to say that I am very grateful, for a varied level of reasons, for the hundreds of years of immigration that we have experienced in the UK: doctors and nurses from abroad looking after my grandparents, an Italian football manager in charge of my beloved England, Seb Carole charging down the wing for BHAFC, my favourite restaurants in Sussex and London which are all run and staffed by immigrants (Italian, Indian, Vietnamese and Chinese), etc, etc, etc.
So, in conclusion, I will stand up for my country. I am very proud to say that I am British. I will continue to sing the National Anthem out loud at England matches (hopefully in SA next year). But I do not currently feel the need to join a bunch of simple, ignorant, bigoted muppets in their misguided one dimensinoal race hatred that has more of an ally with regimes like Mugabe's and the Taliban than it does with the values, the history and the people of Great Britain.
