No.1 - Concise, straightforward and powerful.
Sadly it became neglected, little interest was shown in organising it, and it ended up being left outside at Withdean for some time. There were contractors working on site, we assume it got in their way and they skipped it. The club didn't give us anywhere particularly convenient to store it and it was like drawing teeth getting enough people to help with it. Mil Stad was a case in point, we ended up collaring some kids to help us march it to the coaches after the original 'helpers' disappeared after the game. If there is to be a flag at the Amex, then it has to be the club who organise it, the ball boys that distribute it to the stand pre-match and also then to take it away, fold it and and store it.
Number 2 is the best.
Clearly in the minority, mind! Simple = better. Although I can understand the point of wanting some context with the added line.
Agreed, whichever one is chosen I think the short stripes should just be moved along so that a white mark isn't just above the first L. Easy fix.I agree with this observation about the word "FAIL" jumping into one's head... it is exacerbated by the short white stripes above and below the first "L"
Disagree. When you first see the banner it puts it straight into context, but this is something we'll have for years, so everyone at the ground will soon know what's it's about."FOR SUSSEX BY THE SEA" is vital
