This really is a crap idea.

I love Sussex by the Sea, but picking three words out of the song is just plain idiotic. They will mean absolutely nothing to most people.

If you want a banner then expand to four words, SUSSEX BY THE SEA, at least that has some meaning.

I think that 570 people registering an interest in the banner suggests you could be doing your cringeing in sparse company.

Depends on your point of view.
I didn't like the seagulls flying AWAY from the banner - I felt that they should be flying INTO the banner as per the revision.
You could even say: the Seagulls are coming together at last!

Personally I think they should be flying the same way as the badge. It just looks a bit cross eyed to me. Isn't the reason they turned the seagull because facing the other way ment a downward turn and to the right an upward turn? Or something like that. It looks like they don't know in which direction to fly. We need this looking good so away fans don't take the piss. Trust me it will look better both flying to the right.
Can some photo shop genius turn around the right hand seagull so we can at least see if I'm right?
