I work with adults with complex mental health issues. If you lived near to some of them or encountered them on the street, you may well think they were just ********s. And I couldn't blame you for that, that is often how they present. I know nothing of this man so can't really comment but lots of trauma and complex needs can be hidden under anti-social behaviour. However, my thoughts go out to the victim. Whatever the circumstances of the knife-man it does not take away from the trauma that has now been inflicted on the poor bloke who was stabbed.
Whilst we don’t much share much intelligent dialogue I would imagine many of the women you provide security for are assaulted by men who lay equal claim to MH difficulties, are we to feel sorry for the men in this instance?
Who knows.
