All four reasons above, plus 'if it goes to pens, might not get home with my son till 2.30 on a school night' and 'my cousin was really keen to go'. It all stacked up, really, but tbh if it wasn't on Sky I might have gone anyway.
As a special 'concession', will let my 9 year old go to this and CPFC games. Never normally with school next day.
Luckily, we live in Brighton, so will rush away at final whistles.
For the people who aren't going, I felt the same about, and have zero regrets about missing the Spurs friendly.
But I think 22,374, the lights, Liverpool, and real competition will be special. And their fans actually sing too. Result not everything.
