I have purchased two tickets for getafe friendly for me and the misses. I was sent the link to add to apple wallet. It downloaded one but won’t do the other as it says you can only have one ticket per match on it. Trying to get hold of club but been four hours trying to buy ticket let alone trying to get answer to this. They are supposed to be ringing me back but it takes them forever. Any help would be appreciated

Oops just figured it out. It is there got to scroll across to see other ticket.

I wonder "if I don't have a smartphone" whether you just get a physical season ticket again with your photo on. Which would facilitate easier sharing of tickets (can't believe stewards are going to be checking id every single time!)...

I'm expecting a plastic season ticket again but with photo, bit like the drivers license.

Have sent off all the info by email and waiting to hear what is next. All they say is 'alternative method of ticketing'. Just hoping it's one for the season rather a game by game paper ticket which would be fecking annoying.

I rang the club this morning as I don't have (or want) (so far) a smartphone. I also have no way of sending a scan of my passport or a digital pic of my face. They were extremely helpful. I am posting a old fashioned paper photo-copy of my passport details and one of those polaroid piccy things of my face. They will send me a smart card with my picture on.

Likewise although I can scan and copy so have emailed them. Passport is out of date but should be ok. I`m still me. Reckon my twin will be ok with my ticket !!!

That's good to hear you had a far better experience than me I was promised a call back and avoided meetings so i could take the call and it never came. I wasn't given any reassurances at all though the young lady on the phone clearly knew her way around a mobile phone and was able to provide far more help than the club did in their video communication.

PS just realised I Was told to write to supporter services .co.uk when website ends .com

You can also use your driving licence if you have one

I presume that this only applies to one of those new-fangled licences with a photo on it?

Mine is still a paper version, no photo :)

(I had no trouble at all downloading my ST to my phone, BTW.)

I’m not sure what your issue is but this was all addressed to you yesterday. I can imagine that people in Burnley might not have smart phones and passports, but that’s your problem…it isn’t ours.

Besides, Brighton have previously indicated many alternative forms of ID for those without passport and/or driving license. And the club are doing a pretty good job addressing all this in very challenging times.

This.

If you've still got one of those and don't have a passport there is a f***in' long list of things you can't do in this country now!

I remember driving through south London maybe 15 years ago and there were billboard ads for something like beer that used as their narrative the idea that being online was second rate and needless if you had 'mates'. Can't remember the details as I dismissed it as shitehouse even back then.

So what is the excuse, these days, for citizens with enough money and free time to attend the football, and to have a computer or smart phone with which to communicate with NSC, to claim or imply they don't have enough money to buy a cheap smart phone (mine cost about £30, second hand) and access the goodness and baubles needed to attend the football. Or the wherewithall to ask someone to help them? What gives?

Ah tell thee, tis the last straw. Spent me last florin on t'internet access so ah could read the north stand chat, and bugger me, no idea how to watch the bloomin football or buy a ticket, and having to pay an extra £20 so I can give me ticket to me half-wit nephew? Tis t'last bloomin straw. I'm voting UKIP next election so help me of I'm not.

I have recently renewed my driving licence, the old one was ten years old but also was a photo card.

I think it’s good the club are offering an alternative stadium entry, personally I don’t like being tied to a phone, I often leave mine at home when I’m a bit stressed and want to avoid work calls, texts etc
And I’ve always liked to be a bit alternative

Good point.

I just know I'll forget to bring my phone to the Watford game

Do you want me to ring to remind you…oh that’s if you’ve not forgotten it…..

One thing I am sure of. If I turn up and find I've left the phone at home I'll scweam and scweam until I'm thick.

I have been known to do a disappearing act after the match on a Saturday :drink: works best when my phone is sitting on the side at home :)

:lolol:

I too never knowingly let anyone know where I am at any given moment.
