Those squad numbers released in the article aren't correct for the DS players. The numbers worn in training are the squad numbers for this season, the club would not issue a player with their training kit with one number and then have to re-issue with a new set. The correct numbers are (and this is from one of the two kit men)

Chicksen is wearing number 17; Richards number isn't entirely clear, it looks like 21 (definitely begins with a 2). **Edit: Richards posted a photo on Instagram of him emerging for the Sporting de Gijon match, definitely wearing no. 21.
