Can an E Street and expert tell me where Patty Scialfer was last night?

Probably at home looking after the kids !!
Thought he was great last night and I am just off to Hyde Park where I am ezpectant that he will be equally as wonderful. Lets hope some arsehole doesn't stand in front of me with somebody on his shoulders.
Then over to New Jersey in September . . . 2 gigs at the Giants Stadium before the wrecking ball moves in.

Just watching the Glastonbury programme from last night now, Bruce and the E-Streeters sound as great as ever. Theirs is the kind of music that works best on an epic scale with massive crowds, and NO-ONE is better at it than The Boss. Cliched as it may sound, he really does put absolutely everything into every note he sings, as does each member of the band with every note they play.

I hope he'll keep on rocking for a long time yet, although he's already had the kind of career than 99% of musicians could only dream of having.

Just got a txt from a friend who got to Hyde Park early to get near the front, to find it was already chokka! Not surprising really with the amount of die-hard fans he has :)

Just charging up my trusty Minidisc recorder for a bit of boot-leg action tonite

I know I am old, but Neil Young was awesome last night at Hyde Park and the encore - A Day in the Life by the Beatles was amazing as he was joined on stage by a 'fan' we thought at first, but that was a Mr Paul McCartney, rock and roll at its best.

Danny Federici RIP. Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street Band go together like cheese and chutney and the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. I have seen pub bands with drum kits bigger than the one Max Weinberg plays, difference is he really knows how to hit it. Fond memories of Earls Court 2000.

Went to Hyde Park yesterday, a great day of music. We saw just 2 of the support acts but James Morrison and the Dave Matthews Band were both pretty good. It had clouded over and rained for a while but nobody cared.

At 7.15 on came the Boss and started with London Calling, a tribute to Joe Strummer. That set the tone for 2 hours 45 minutes of Springsteen and the E Street band at there best.

The set list was

London Calling
Badlands
Night
She's The One
Outlaw Pete
Out In The Street
Working On A Dream
Seeds
Johnny 99
Youngstown
Good Lovin'
Bobby Jean
Trapped
No Surrender
Waiting On A Sunny Day
Promised Land
Racing In The Street
Radio Nowhere
Lonesome Day
The Rising
Born To Run

Rosalita
Hard Times
Jungleland
American Land
Glory Days
Dancing In The Dark

Got loads of pictures (and a couple of video clips), will upload some later in the week when I get some time!

Gives 100%. Pure entertainmet but only stayed 1 hour. Never been a big fan but can take in small doses. Too samey and too polished for my liking but this man is a true pro and is not happy unless his fans are. Would not pay to see him
