Trolley Wally:thumbsup:......never finished that game, did you?

I'm far too clumsy and crap at games to EVER finish a game

Did a quick google for a screenshot and found you can download it - not sure I want to though 'cause I'm bound to be disappointed.

I had a Spectrum, but became jealous of the Commodore when a mate got it. That said I think the Spectrum had the better range of games.

C64 for me, international soccer on *ahem* cartridge - with the cross shapes ball and fat stick men and made a noise like a rubber band when the ball bounced!

Other than the tapes failing to load the other thing that I remember about that time was that the joysticks used to have "microswitches" in them, that not only made very loud clicking sounds but also frequently broke meaning you were half way through a game (that had just taken 20 minutes to load) and then you couldn't turn left.

I had a BBC. Football Director was the nuts. As Clapham Gull mentioned Revs was quality as well. Wilma Cargo was one of many "drivers".:clap2:

It did, the budget 1.99 tapes!! There were over 22,000 games released for the speccy. Anyone have Oracles Cave?

Oh and the first releases of JSW were actually impossible to complete due to bugs
